This July, I traveled to Haryana, India with a team of volunteers from Warwick University. I stayed at the Laksh Farms and worked with some incredibly talented people who are trying really hard to improve the standards of education in their villages.

The Laksh Foundation offers free education to the children of the local farm workers, offering them a way to improve their futures. In the teaching centers located in the surrounding villages, we worked with the students and teachers to develop improved teaching methods and curricula.

It’s a small, but revolutionary spark and through this video I have tried to capture the momentum of the project. Do give it a watch and switch on the ‘closed captions’ for English subtitles.
